Tuesday, February 2nd is Primary Election day here in the great state of Illinois. At the end of the day, our fate will be determined by who becomes our next county board president. Sorry Republicans, Green Party, Tea Party and every other party. The democrats will retain this office, trust us. And the winner on the democrats side will be calling the shots come 2011, which has already been proclaimed a very problematic year financially, even without rolling back the whole Stroger tax, as three candidates have vowed to do upon election!
While AFSCME has not endorsed any candidate for governor and county board president, please use your democratic right and cast your vote on Tuesday anyway!
